Kim Wainwright
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Kim Wainwright founded Xplore360 to bring disciplined, technology-led intelligence to exploration and mining teams across Australia, Canada and the USA. The platform turns fragmented public tenure and geoscience data into decision-ready insight.
Kim is also the founder and CEO of Xplore Resources, the exploration, mining and professional services firm she established in 2014 to help companies develop projects in Australia and overseas. Kim has built a reputation for responsible development, practical support for explorers, and moving projects from early-stage targeting through to execution.
Kim has chaired the Queensland Exploration Council since 2019, advocating for the sector and promoting Queensland’s prospectivity globally. She is passionate about exploration and has consistently championed its importance as the first link in the resources value chain: without discovery, there is no future supply, investment or regional opportunity. Kim brings that perspective to the boardroom as a director of the Queensland Resources Council and of ASX-listed junior exploration company. She shares it more widely as a columnist for Industry Queensland and as an MC and chair at resources industry events.
Her contribution to the industry has been widely recognised: she was named to the WIM100 list of 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining (2022), a Top 10 Global Mining Influencer (2023), and a finalist in the 2024 Women in Industry Awards.
At Xplore360, Kim’s focus is on products that respect how geologists, explorers and the investment community actually work: live public data, transparent scoring, and workflows that turn screening signals into decision-ready briefs.
